Instructor Max Marien is a world renowned acro paragliding pilot. He set the World Record for Infinite Tumbles in 2012, invented several acrobatic tricks, and has travelled the world competing and representing the United States in the sport of Acrobatic Paragliding. Shifting his focus now to teaching the next generation of acrobatic pilots with hopes of growing the community of US pilots represented in the global platform of paragliding.
Trip leader Cheyanne Abolt-Marien is a world renowned acrobatic yoga instructor, a published musician and internationally recognized travel guide with over 20 years in leading adventure specific excursions abroad. In 2024, Cheyanne became an FAI aerobatic paragliding judge traveling the globe to judge acro specific paragliding competitions. She brings years of her experience to the Max Acro Team as the organizer and one of the leaders for all of our events from SIV to training and travel trips.
